Bodyguard season 2 in the offing?

Netflix’s drama Bodyguard has been a huge hit till now. The six-part thriller aired with record-breaking ratings on the BBC network. Owing to the positive response, actor Richard Madden confirmed that talks are currently underway about producing a second season of the series.

The Game of Thrones star plays the role of a troubled Afghanistan war veteran working as a bodyguard for a controversial British politician (played by Keeley Hawes). “I’m will have a conversation with series creator Jed Mercurio in about 10 days or something, when I’m back in the country, and we are just going to chat through some ideas,” said Richard. To make things more certain about a new season, Richard recently shared a picture on his Instagram from Netflix’s office and captioned it as, “Yo @netflix lobby.”
