At 70, Gere to be a father again!

Hollywood actor Richard Gere is soon to cherish fatherhood again. At 70, the actor is expecting a second baby with wife Alejandra. Just nine months ago, Alejandra gave birth to their son. Reportedly, Richard and his wife’s next one is due in spring. Gere, who turned 70 at the end of August, also has a son aged 19, Homer James Jigme Gere, with former wife Carey Lowell. 

Gere’s current wife, Alejandra Silva, 36, was born in Spain’s northwest region of Galicia. Silva is a mother to a six-year-old son, Albert, with her ex-husband Govind Friedland. During an interaction, Richard, after the wedding, had said, “I’m the happiest man in the universe and how couldn’t I be! I’m married to a beautiful, sensitive, funny woman who’s committed to helping people and is a great mother.” Reports of Alejandra’s pregnancy surfaced six months after she tied the knot with Gere at a ceremony in Spain.
