Fitness—balance of mind and body
Fitness to me is the balance of mind and body. It does not only mean that one needs to have a well-built body but also means how active you are throughout your day.
Make careful choices
Eat food which is locally available. Avoid heavy meals at night. Always have a balanced diet and never overeat. I generally stick to some of these rules. Apart from this, I incorporate seasonal fruits in my diet and avoid bread.
Mental health is important
For my mental well being, I listen to my favourite songs by Vasantrao Deshpande. It soothes my mind and keeps me fresh after a strenuous work-out session. I also enjoy painting. It keeps me calm during difficult times.
Hectic schedules need management
I make sure my sleep cycle is complete. Along with a healthy and balanced diet, sleep is also important to lead a healthy life. Our body heals itself when we are asleep. I always grab an opportunity to take a power nap even while I’m on the sets.
Healthy snacking
Sweet corn and fruits, these are my two favourite snacks on-the-go. It’s easiest to carry and munch on while travelling and shooting.
My weakness
It’s impossible for me to resist aam raas. Summer is my favorite season for mangoes. While I enjoy indulging, I make it a point to hit the gym every now and then.
Health tips
I would suggest everyone to have a diet that incorporates the staple and local food from your region. Scientifically our body is designed to consume and digest them suitably. Have a light meal at night and also monitor your sweet intake and keep off white sugar.
