As you are trying to beat the heat, you still can stay trendy by wearing the right colours. 

The most definitive of the summer 2019 runway colour is yellow, of course, which showed up in shades of pastel yellow, turmeric, aspen gold and lemon. Yellow is the colour of unisex. 

The other colours which are ruling this season are shades of brown, like beige and pale brown and pinks like light pink and deep pink, especially for traditional wear. Gorgeous green like mint, lime, seafoam and chartreuse.

Savi Tuli, a fashion designer student, INIFD, says, “People are moving towards subtle tones. They prefer light and pastel colours to be cool in summer.”

According to Upasna Batra, fashion designer, colours are forecast six to eight months prior to the season. It is always based on some theme. The theme for 2019-20 is women empowerment. Each and every colour signifies power and dignity of women.

Susheel Chhabra, owner of Annanya Boutique panchkula, says, “Peach, off-white, pista, petals yellow, lemon, fawn are mostly go with linen, cotton, cambric and cotton voile fabric as they are light, comfortable and breathable fabric.
