Zaira Wasim shocked everyone on Sunday morning with a long post on her Instagram. The actress bid goodbye to her film career and confessed that she has taken the decision because of her religion. The National Award-winning actress said that she is not happy with her line of work.
While this decision of Zaira has been welcomed by many people from the industry, including the makers of The Sky Is Pink, actress Raveena Tandon took a dig at Zaira. Raveena took to her Twitter and wrote, “Doesn’t matter if two film-olds are ungrateful to the industry that has given them all. Just wish they’d exit gracefully and keep their regressive views to themselves.”
In a separate tweet, Raveena further wrote, “Exit is your choice, reason by all means. Just do not demean it for everyone else.” Raveena Tandon also described the film industry as “one where all work shoulder-to-shoulder; there is no caste or religious biases.”
