Harshvardhan Rane had been in the United Kingdom for two months shooting for Bejoy Nambiar’s upcoming directorial, Taish. The much-awaited revenge drama is special to the talented actor for several reasons. Harshvardhan got to spend time at his favourite places and he got to shoot at the Shepton Mallet prison, which is UK’s most haunted prison.

When the shooting schedule for Taish concluded, Harshvardhan persuaded the makers of the film to let him preserve the prison uniform as memorabilia. Harshvardhan says, “I had bittersweet emotions, as we inched towards the wrap. The character that I essay has taken me on a personal journey and I never wanted it to end, but I am glad that I got to keep the prison uniform. It’s going to be one of my most cherished souvenirs.”

The film also stars Jim Sarbh and Amit Sadh.
