New couple alert: Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are in a relationship

Actor Farhan Akhtar has finally revealed that he is in a relationship with TV personality Shibani Dandekar for over a year.

A few days back, Farhan had shared a picture on Instagram; where he and Shibani can be seen wearing rings and holding hands. Twitter went crazy and started congratulating them on their “engagement”. 

But in a recent chat show Farhan cleared the air. In conversation with Bhumi Pednekar on the latest episode of ‘TapeCast’, he gave us details about his relationship with Shibani. 

On ‘Tapecast’, the participants switch on a tape recorder and pre-recorded voice asks them a question. 

In Farhan’s case, it was his girlfriend who asked him a direct question. She said: Hey Farhan, are we getting married in April or May? Can you please let me know because I am very confused”.

A smiling Farhan replied: “I think she is having a lot of fun with a lot of news that is going around currently, about us looking for wedding planners”.

To which, Bhumi asked: “Are you though?”. 

Farhan answered: “It maybe April or maybe ‘May’ ”.

On the work front, Farhan will next be seen in Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’, in which he co-stars with Priyanka Chopra and Zaira Wasim.
