With hit movies like Nil Battey Sannata and Bareilly Ki Barfi, filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari has positioned herself as one of the most sought after filmmakers of Bollywood. The latest we hear is that Ashwiny’s short film, Ghar Ki Murgi, will be showcased at BRICS at Durban and will be released in China thereafter. The BRICS summit is scheduled to take place from July 25 to 27. Representing India, Ashwiny holds the recognition of being one of the five female directors from BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) showcasing their respective work during the prestigious film festival. The short film helmed by Ashwiny and featuring Sakshi Tanwar has been recently shot in New Delhi.
