Being thankful

Like all years, this time too Bappa will come home to bless everyone. It’s a festive atmosphere with lots of sweets and home-cooked food. I want to thank the Lord for all that he has done for me. 

Big occasion

Everybody enjoys and dances on the streets. Ganpati is not only an Indian festival, it is celebrated abroad too. In France, they have an idol of Ganpati, which is 10,000 years old.  

Health first

I don’t think I need to ask for anything from Ganesh ji, as he has been very kind to us. I have got such a beautiful son and an amazing family. I just pray for everybody’s health.

Modak time

I have always felt strong and positive vibrations while worshipping Lord Ganpati. It’s a festival of joy, where we get to visit close friends. The best part of the festival is having modaks. Though I don’t get the deity to my house, I visit my friend’s place for worship. 

Lucky charm

I get Ganpati idol at home for a day-and-a-half. Ganpati ji has always been lucky for me and I believe in him a lot. I have full faith in him and he makes me feel stronger.

Helping hand

I do not get Ganpati at home though hopefully someday I would. On the first day of the festival, I visit everybody’s home. Bappa’s role is very big in my life because he has helped me a lot.
