Farhan deletes his Facebook account

Since last few days, the social media platform, Facebook has been in news. Reports alleged that personal data from as many as 50 million people might have been used improperly in Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign by Cambridge Analytica, a UK-based political research firm. 

Amidst a global outrage against Facebook, many users have deactivated their social media accounts. Actor-director Farhan Akhtar too is out of FB now. However, his reason is not clear yet.

Farhan took to Twitter on Tuesday morning and wrote, "Good morning. This is to inform you all that I have permanently deleted my personal Facebook account. However, the verified FarhanAkhtarLive page is still active."
