Laatu is another Punjabi period film set in India of 1960s. The makers of the film are trying to bring to life rural Punjab of the times when villages faced a problem of electrification. The story is fast paced and revolves around how electricity in those days was a status symbol. The digital poster of upcoming Punjabi film Laatu (Bulb) which is being produced by Sumeet Singh, CEO of Saga Music in collaboration with Seven Colors Entertainment and Jagmeet Grewal, CEO of Farid Entertainment has been unveiled. Sumeet Singh said, “This will be a debut film for the director Manav Shah and the lead actor is renowned Punjabi Singer Gagan Kokri." 

Jagmeet Grewal adds, “I am elated to work with such an experienced producer and talented crew”. 

"What I can say is that this film is going to be a comic representation of a grave situation of electrification persisting in our society," sums up Manav Shah. — TNS
