JALANDHAR: Jaspreet Kaur of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, bagged the 1st position in the university exams of MSc, Physics (Sem III) with 451/ 600 marks. Priyanka Dadwal of the same class bagged the 3rd position with  429/600. Principal of the college Dr Gurpinder Singh Samra said the college was committed to provide quality education. Sardarni Balbir Kaur, president, governing council, congratulated the students for achieving the distinction and wished them success in life. TNS 

World Earth Day celebrated 

Jalandhar: Sanskriti KMV School celebrated World Earth Day to invoke respect, concern and action to conserve the natural resources. Principal Rachna Monga  called for the continuous support through a promise from the students to celebrate the world Heath Day not just as a day but through round the year with action towards the conservation of the earth. The principal, teachers and students planted saplings on the campus. In the coming week events, including calligraphy, essay writing and quiz would be held.TNS
