KMV makes a mark in India Today survey

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KMV), Jalandhar, has been ranked first in various categories, including BCA, Fashion Designing and BBA in a survey conducted by India Today in the country.
Principal Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi said being the first and the only women college to be bestowed the autonomous status, the college has entered the higher league of colleges.
“From the 39,000 colleges under the University Grants Commission (UGC), 1,207 colleges were invited to accord the ranking by India Today. The KMV has bagged the first rank in the country in best value for money in fashion designing and BCA, along with the first rank in the lowest tuition fee for fashion designing as well in BCA”, said the principal.
“Other categories, in which the college secured the top position include — the lowest tuition fee for BBA and in best value for money for BBA. BCA programme is included in top 20 colleges and is the first in the state,” she added.
She said: “In fashion designing, the college is among top 30 best colleges of the country. In commerce the college has been placed in the top 75 colleges. In Arts and Science it is included in top 120 colleges.”
