DAV Collegiate, Govt School, Mohali, sail into semi -finals

On the 5th day of the ongoing14th All-India Balwant Singh Kapur Memorial School Hockey Tournament (U-19 Boys) being played at Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium, DAV Collegiate School and Government School, Mohali, reached the semi-finals that will be played on December 22.

In first match, played between DAV Collegiate School and Guru Gobind Inter College, Lucknow, the latter was defeated 6-1.

Sudarshan Singh scored three and Baljit Singh scored two goals. Karajwinder Singh scored one goal from the winning side.

In another match, Government School, Mohali, beat Indra Priyadarshani, Bhopal, 3-0 and reached the semi-finals. Prateek Sharma, Rahul Sharma and Angadbeer score one goal each.

Olympian Baljit Singh Dhillon was present on the occasion.
