Car hit by truck, 4 hurt

JALANDHAR: Four persons were seriously injured on the JalandharPhagwara highway today when the Skoda car in which they were travelling fell into a ditch after being hit by a truck coming from the rear side

Four persons were seriously injured on the Jalandhar-Phagwara highway today when the Skoda car in which they were travelling fell into a ditch after being hit by a truck coming from the rear side.

The hit was so severe that the car tumbled down many times. Sunil Bhandari, a resident of the Model Town area in Jalandhar, was driving the car, while his three friends were accompanying him when the mishap took place.

The victims are being treated at Civil Hospital, Phagwara. The police are investigating the matter.
