Even as MLAs and Awaaz-e-Punjab leaders Pargat Singh, Simarjit Bains and Balwinder Bains met their leader Navjot Sidhu in Delhi amidst reports of his talks with AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi, they are still in dark over their next political move.

Pargat today said, “All the meetings with Congress leaders are being done independently by Sidhu. We have given him our rights and will go by whatever he decides. After his meetings, Sidhu briefed us on some points yesterday in our meeting with him as we all four got together again in Delhi. We still need four-five days to take the final decision.”

Asked whether it would be a merger or an outside support, he said, “There is nothing to conclude as of now.” Over the almost certain joining of ex-SAD leader and MLA Inderbir Bolaria into Congress fold immediately without any flip flops like him and his forum leaders, Pargat said, “Everyone has his way of taking things. Our move too would be clear in coming days. We need some more time”.

Further quizzed that Sidhu’s recent statement on PPCC chief Capt Amarinder Singh blaming him for having a nexus with Badals could come in way in the event of a tie-up, Pargat said, “All issues will be taken into account well ahead of the next move.”
