Phagwara, April 3

Activists of Ambedeker Sena Mool Niwasi, Punjab, headed by its state president Harbhghan Suman, hold ‘Sambhidhan Bachao Sankalap and Bahujan Ekta’ motorcycle rally here on Tuesday evening.

Participants wore T-shirts having the photos of Dr Ambedekar during the rally which was flagged off by littérateur Sohan Sehjal in front of Dr Ambedeker Park in Hargobind Nagar, Phagwara.

Dalit leaders, including Jaswinder Bodh, Balwinder, Aakash Bharti, Dr Jagdish, Advocate Kuldip Bhatti, Satwinder Kultham also participated in the rally.

Heavy police force was deputed at several sensitive places in the town. SP Phagwara Mandeep Singh monitored the situation to prevent any untoward incident.
