The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Spiritual Growth Centre organised a function here today on the eve of Diwali.

Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shri Mata Devi Shrine Board, MK Kumar and B Mohandass, Additional Chief Executive Officers of the board, Deputy CEOs, Chief Accounts Officer and a large number of employees of the Shrine Board participated in the function.

The CEO greeted the officers and employees of the Shrine Board on Diwali on behalf of Governor NN Vohra, who is also the chairman of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.

He also conveyed good wishes of the Governor on the occasion to the Shrine Board staff, wishing them and their families well-being and prosperity.

The CEO held a detailed interaction with the employees present on the occasion and congratulated them for the board getting recognition at the national level due to its disciplined environment and of the employees.

Sahu also announced Diwali bonus for its employees, sanctioned by the board for the hard work put in by them while discharging their duties.

He spoke about various initiatives being taken by the Shrine Board for bringing about continuous improvements in the facilities for the pilgrims.

He also impressed upon the employees to work with greater zeal and dedication for providing increasingly improved facilities to the pilgrims visiting the Vaishno Devi shrine.

During interaction, the employees briefed the CEO about various issues and he issued on-the-spot directions to address them in a time-bound manner.
