Series of events mark CRPF Raising Day

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Friday organised a series of functions in Kashmir to celebrate its Raising Day.
Senior CRPF officers paid homage to martyrs of the nation on the RTC premises, Humhama, followed by the Director General’s commendation disc and certificate presentation to the decorated officers and men.
“The CRPF also organised a mega blood donation camp at Bakshi Stadium where more than 200 donors hailing from various Valley-based formations of the force volunteered to donate blood,” a CRPF spokesman said.
CRPFSpecial DG Prabhat Singh expressed satisfaction over the participation of CRPF volunteers in the human cause.
Guv participates in celebrations
Srinagar: Governor NN Vohra participated in the 80th Raising Day celebrations of the CRPF at the RTC, Humhama, on Friday. He congratulated the personnel of the force for their steadfast devotion and continuing sacrifices for safeguarding the territorial integrity of the country, combating terrorism and promoting a secure environment for the people.
