Bukhari opens ‘Chinar’ restaurant

Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, Minister for Finance, Education and Labour & Employment (J&K), inaugurated a Kashmiri restaurant, “Chinar”, at Hotel Ramada in Jammu City Centre on Monday.
This restaurant offers a fine dining experience specialising in delicacies of the authentic "wazwan" cuisine from Kashmir, besides North West Frontier and Dogri dishes. Hotel chairman Raju Chowdhary showed Altaf Bukhari and other dignitaries around.
Bukhari, when asked about his experience, was all praise for the restaurant, saying a Kashmiri cuisine fine dining restaurant was very much required in Jammu. He said tourists could now relish authentic Kashmiri and Northwest Frontier cuisines in the beautiful ambience of the restaurant.
He appreciated the breathtaking view from the Sky Lounge of the Bahu Fort and the Mahamaya forest on one side, view of the Tawi in front, Trikuta Hills on the back and the infinity pool lit amid fire fountains. He said it was a "mesmerising" experience.
Celebrity chef Tariq (Waza) along with his team of chefs was specially flown from Kashmir.
