Ekta at her prime

When it comes to trying out something out-of-the-box and new, no one does better than TV’s queen Ekta Kapoor. She has now struck gold by making Naagin, the finite bi-weekly supernatural thriller on Colors. The show rocketed in numbers from the very first week, and has been at the top ever since its launch.

Ekta has kept this biweekly weekend slot on Colors as a goldmine and this has worked in her favour. And she is already working on a love-cum-horror series, Kavach, wherein the female protagonist will be shown defying odds to bring her husband back to life. This show will replace Naagin from May and keep the ‘coveted’ time slot of Ekta active, till she comes back with Naagin 2.
