A challenge for Barkha

Unlike daily soaps, shooting for mythological show is always a challenge for the cast as they are expected to wear heavy costumes and jewellery. And this challenge is something new for the gorgeous Barkha Bisht, who essays the role of Anjani in her first mythological show Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman, which is being aired on Sony Entertainment Television.

Barkha shared, “Anjani, mother of Lord Hanuman, plays a pivotal role in his life. Hence I did a lot of research before taking up the role. To essay any mythological character, it is necessary to work on your diction and posture, as they play an important part when it comes to appearance.”

That’s not it, Bakha says shooting with heavy costumes and jewellery comes with challenges, “My character demands heavy costume and jewellery, which is difficult. It becomes taxing at times.”
