MANDI:Sudeva Football Club Delhi has won the 48th All India Hot Weather football Championship at Paddal Ground here.

Mandi, July 8

Sudeva Football Club Delhi has won the 48th All India Hot Weather football Championship at Paddal Ground here. In an interesting battle, Sudeva Football Club Delhi defeated its arch rivals Punjab Police by 1-0 on Sunday.

Additional District Magistrate Mandi Shrawan Manta, who was the chief guest, awarded the winners. He congratulated the office bearers of the All-India Hot Weather Football Association Mandi for organizing the event successfully.

He demanded that the winners should encourage this sports in their areas so that more youths joined it. Active participation in sports activities will help youths stay away from drugs and keep them physically and mentally strong.

Rajender Gupta, general secretary of All India Hot Weather Football Association, Mandi thanked the chief guest and the participants and said that the state government should make efforts to promote football game in state.

A total of 10 teams took part in this tournament. Out of these eight were from other states.
