Claiming that all the students of the EIT will be adjusted or transferred to other affiliated colleges, Dr Dinesh Kumar, VC, YMCA university, today said that a notification has been issued in this regard.

He said all the affected students of this college could apply online between October 23 and 25 through the university website www.jcboseust.ac.in for their adjustment to other colleges or institutes affiliated to the university.

He said the decision has been taken to safeguard the future of students and to prevent any loss of their studies due to withdrawal of privilege of affiliation on account of non-compliance of affiliation norms.

A notice for the immediate transfer of all the students has been issued by the Registrar of the university, he added.

Meanwhile, the Registrar of the YMCA university also said that university was committed to protecting the interest and future of the students registered with it despite any hurdle on part of the institution they have enrolled with. He said that the affected students could also visit the affiliation branch of the university for any assistance in connection with their transfer process.

The EIT, which has around 528 students enrolled in UG and PG courses, had come up in 2007. It is located on Kabulpur-Jasana road in the district. It has been charged with blocking inspection from the YMCA University despite being served show-cause notices this year.
