Teenage shooter Manu Bhaker, who won gold in the junior 10 m air pistol Meeting of the Shooting Hopes tournament held recently at Pilsen, Czech Republic, was accorded a welcome by the district administration on reaching here on Wednesday.

Deputy Commissioner Sonal Goel offered her pagri and said, “Manu is an inspiration for girls across the nation.” Goel called upon the people to provide ample opportunities to their daughters for proving their mettle. Manu’s father Ram Kishan Bhaker informed that his daughter had won nine international medals this year. — TNS
