Maharashtra team visits NDRI

A delegation led by Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker Haribhau Kisanrao Bagade today paid a visit to National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI).
Speaker Bagade is also the chairman of Aurangabad District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Limited.
He, along with Nandlal Bansilal Kale, vice-chairman, Board of Directors, and other members visited the NDRI’s livestock research centre, experimental dairy, model dairy plant, animal breeding research centre, animal biotechnology centre, business planning and development unit, national referral centre for milk quality and safety.
Bagade said he was satisfied with the working of the institute.
He said the main purpose of the visit was to get to know about the facilities available at the NDRI for imparting training to the staff of dairy plants in Maharashtra. The delegation showed interest in the technologies developed at the NDRI for ascertaining the quality of milk. Earlier, Dr RRB Singh, Director, NDRI, apprised the delegation of various activities being carried out at the institute.
