Chandigarh, June 11

He said the Central government had agreed that the current unemployment rate in the country was the highest in the last 45 years.

“Unemployment in the state is highest among northern states. The state was ahead in terms of investment and industry during Congress regime. The government should tell us how it has been recording higher unemployment,” he said.

He said the youth should focus on development, industry and employment for their future. He said the government did not release unemployment figures earlier due to elections. — TNS
