Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated the statue of Bhai Santokh Singh at children’s park in Kaithal from Sirsa through a video link on Sunday.

The CM said Bhai Santokh Singh wrote Manh Chhand and included sermons and life of all Gurus in Guru Nanak Parkash. He sent his greetings to people of Kaithal district through a direct telecast.

Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Soni, City Magistrate Vivek Chaudhary and others present on the occasion planted saplings. The DC said: “The launch of the statue of Bhai Santokh Singh on this historic day is a great gift for Kaithal residents, who will learn about the great man and his contribution to history, which is very valuable. Bhai Santokh Singh was a poet in the durbar of Kaithal’s last ruler Bhai Udai Singh.”
