Students of Central School of Tibetans (CST) mesmerised the audience by presenting the snow lion dance at Happy Valley in Mussoorie on the fourth day of the Tibet Week celebrations today.

In the Tibetan culture, the snow lion is a symbol of a fearless, elegant and enlightened mind. The students performed the dance wearing Tibetan gowns and moved their hands and body in coordination. The dance is also an integral part of the Buddhist philosophy and is performed in Tibet for spiritual healing. Later in the evening, an inter-house quiz competition based on the Tibetan history and culture was held among four houses, namely Desi, Thumi, Choegyal and Taring.
