A craft and poster-making exhibition was organised at Achievers Home Public School, Jagjeetpur, yesterday.

Students used waste material to make wall hangings, pencil stands, piggy bags, multi-utility boxes and posters.

Neha Sangneria, coordinator of the junior wing, said the purpose of the art exhibition was to inculcate awareness among students about the utility of waste materials. Principal Dr S Sarkar said such activities help in an overall development of children.

An annual book ‘Achievement 2015’ highlighting the annual events, achievements, programmes and co-curricular activities of the school in the past one year was also released.

Director Nitin Ahluwalia, Parul Ahluwalia, senior wing coordinator Anubha Jain, teacher JK Gupta, Konika Arora were present on the occasion.
