Chief Minister Harish Rawat visited the old Raipur bus stand in Dehradun yesterday and met representatives of various organisations siting protesting there.

The Chief Minister, who personally received memorandums from every protesting organisations, assured them of sympathetically considering their demands.

Harish Rawat said despite limited resources, the state government was making all efforts towards addressing the concerns of the employees.

The Chief Minister expressed concern at lack of cleaniless at the bus stand. He telephonically directed District Magistrate Ravinath Raman to make adequate drinking water and toilet arrangements at the dharna site.
