43 Navodaya teachers learn skills at Oak Grove School

A group of 43 teachers of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Roshnabad, visited Oak Grove School here today to learn the teaching methodology of the school. VS Gusain, Assistant Commissioner of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Lucknow, and SC Joshi, Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Roshnabad, Haridwar, accompanied the visiting teachers.
They interacted with the faculty members and students of the school. JP Pandey, Principal of Oak Grove School, informed JNV teachers about the practice of shared learning and its usefulness for the school community. Pandey, while addressing teachers of JNV, Roshnabad, said JNVs were doing a yeoman service to society by providing quality education, including a strong component of culture, inculcation of values, awareness of environment, adventure activities and physical education to talented children from the far-fetched rural areas.
SC Joshi, Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Roshnabad, said the faculty members of his school enjoyed the visit and appreciated the architectural design of the Oak Grove School building, particularly its interiors. The school campus reflected the sustainability in its services, namely water works sewerage, electricity and facilities like gymnasium play areas, swimming pool, hospital and auditorium.
Oak Grove Girls’ School Head Mistress Tanuja Joshi, Oak Grove Boys’ School Head Master Krishna Kumar, M Sanju Pandey, Dr Atul Kumar Saxena, Anupam Singh, Vinay Kumar, Anand Kumar and other faculty members of the school were present during the interaction session of the teachers.
