One dead, several injured as Indo-Canadian bus rams into truck

One person was killed, while several injured as the Indo-Canadian bus they were travelling in rammed into a moving truck from behind near Panipat toll plaza in the wee hours of Saturday. One injured was admitted to a Panipat hospital, while others, having suffered minor injuries, left for their homes after the mishap.
Fog was being considered the reason behind the accident.
As per the information, the incident took place at around 2am near a toll plaza, when the Indo-Canadian bus, which was going to Punjab from Delhi airport rammed into a truck moving ahead of it.
The deceased has been identified as Charanjeet, a resident of Phagwara in Punjab, who was the cleaner of the bus, while injured Prem, a resident of Muktsar (Punjab), was the conductor of the bus.
Investigating officer ASI Attar Singh told that other passengers received minor injuries. A case has been registered against the bus driver Paramjeet, he added.
