Srinagar Army school Principal felicitated

Sandeep Marhatta, Principal, Army Public School, Srinagar, was given the Best Principal Award for the Year 2014-15.
This award was given to him by Chief of Staff, Northern Command, Lt Gen NPS Hira, at an award ceremony held at Army Public School, Udhampur. The award consisted of a citation and a Rs 15,000 cheque.
It was the maiden event in the entire Northern Command where a young Principal has been awarded with this award for laudable efforts in the field of education and he was commended and applauded by all the dignitaries present at the event.
“Under his able leadership, Army Public School, Srinagar, stood first in academics among all the 134 Army Public Schools all over India,” a statement issued by APS, Srinagar, said.
Chairman of the school Brig Vinay Bahl, Deputy GOC, HQ 31, Sub-Area, was also present at the function and he praised the Principal for his dedication.
After winning the award, Marhatta said success came from hard work which he embraced.
Apart from Principals from the entire Northern Command, representatives of Central, Southern, Western, Eastern and South- Western Commands were also present on the occasion.
