Congress president Sonia Gandhi will visit Almora district on November 7 and take part in three-day International Yoga Festival being commenced at Jageshwar Dham from November 5.

“Chief Minister Harish Rawat will accompany Sonia Gandhi on November 7. Sonia will take part in the Kumaoni food festival being organised by Gururabanj locality of Jageshwar town of Almora district," said Pradeep Tamta, former Congress MP from Almora.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
