Son, daughter take charge for JJ Singh

The first elected Sikh councillor of France and the deputy mayor of Normandy, Vivek Pal Singh, has been campaigning hard in Patiala for his father, SAD-BJP candidate and former Army Chief Gen Joginder Jaswant Singh (retd). He is going from lanes to lanes and urging voters to vote for his father who will work for development of the city.
Gen JJ Singh (retd) is contesting against Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh for the Patiala (Urban) seat in the Punjab Assembly poll to be held on February 4.
Landing from France with his students, Vivek Pal, who is a professor of management and owns an import-export trade, has started connecting with young voters in particular to garner their support for his father.
Already, members of the royal family led by the sitting MLA, Amarinder’s wife, Preneet Kaur, are canvassing for Capt Amarinder. Their daughter Jai Inder Kaur and granddaughter Seherinder Kaur, are busy campaigning for Capt Amarinder.
Meanwhile, Urvashi Kaur, a fashion designer in Delhi, daughter of JJ Singh, is also canvassing door-to-door in support of her father. “I am sure he will prove to be a great candidate and MLA for the city,” she says. He is working hard. I am sure people of the city will honour his commitment,” she adds.
