Elaborate security arrangements were made to prevent any untoward incident at the meeting. Blaming the INLD and the Congress for the attack perpetrated on him in Kurukshetra two days ago, the MP said it was a deep-rooted conspiracy. A high-level probe should be initiated into it, he said.

Saini advocated the scrapping of the Rajya Sabha. He said there were several progressive nations in the world with just one Parliament house, hence a mass movement was needed to end the Upper House.
