Parul Chauhan, best known for her portrayal of Ragini in Bidaai, has been roped-in for a pivotal role in Santoshi Maa. Parul will be seen essaying the character of Swarnalekha. Parul says, “It feels great to be associated with a show like Santoshi Maa. I will be portraying the character of Swarnalekha, which is quite a challenge because as a person I am quite positive. I haven’t yet essayed an outright negative character on screen before. I’m sure that the audience will appreciate my efforts.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
