Oak Grove Junior students mesmerise seniors at farewell party

Oak Grove Junior School students bade farewell to Class V students during the valedictory-cum-farewell ceremony held in honour of the students, who would leave the junior school and entering the senior school campus from the next academic session this year.
It was an evening of mixed emotions of valedictory ceremony yesterday. The farewell function was organised by students of Class IV for their seniors. Elegantly dressed, the outgoing students entered the school premises at 8.30 pm and were received by students of Class IV.
The programme began with the lighting of a lamp by the chief guest of the evening JP Pandey, Principal, Oak Grove School and that was followed by short skit performed by students of Class-IV. The students also performed dances on the various themes. A short video clip depicting the school life in Oak Grove was immensely appreciated by audience.
Class V students presented foot tapping dance and songs. Teachers spoke about their experiences with the outgoing batch and students of Class IV also presented cards to their seniors. The passing out students expressed gratitude to the Principal and teachers for their generous support and guidance.
The Principal of the school, JP Pandey, in his speech exhorted them to keep the flag of Oak Grove School flying high by keeping the ideals of ‘Victory with Determination’ as learnt in the school. Amita Srivastava, Headmistress, Oak Grove Junior School, wished good luck to the outgoing students and said that anything can be achieved by hard work and dedication.
In the farewell party of passing out batch, Sanju Pandey, Tanuja Joshi ,Headmistress, Oak Grove Girls School , Dr Sanjay Dube ,Dr Atul Kumar Saxena, Rekha Sangal, Archana Shankar, Kushal, Surubhi Sharma, Preeti Lakra, Nidhi Saxena and Anjali Dube were present .
