Chandigarh: Vodafone on Tuesday announced a minimum maternity benefits standard 16 weeks of paid leave, equalling four months of paid maternity leave, against the industry standard of three months.
The policy of the company also aims at reduced working hours (30 hours per week for six months) for child care after joining back from maternity leave.
Bhogal is CII Punjab council chief
SS Bhogal has been elected as the new Chairman of CII Punjab State Council for 2015–16 at the CII NR Headquarters here. Sandeep Jain has been elected Vice-Chairman. Bhogal is the managing partner at Bhogal Exports. “The broad theme adopted by the CII Punjab State Council for 2015-16 would revolve around enablers, which can be used for regaining the growth momentum,” said Bhogal. — TNS
