Lodha Group today announced The Luxury Collection — a new umbrella brand that aims to be the first-of-its-kind, international end-to-end luxury portfolio. The Luxury Collection will be present at the globe’s most-coveted locations, offering the highest standards of service and will set the benchmark for the world's finest real estate, aiming to be the most sought after in the cities they are in. Speaking on the occasion, Abhishek Lodha, Managing Director of Lodha Developers, said, “There is a growing desire for luxury brands across consumer categories but for the most important and involved purchase, for our own home, there is no singular choice which one can trust or associate with. To realise this vision, we spent endless hours traversing the globe to understand trends and evolutions in living, imbibed the best of Asian hospitality and Western aesthetics, and pursued perfection and detail with an almost monastic devotion”. With its headquarters in London, The Luxury Collection will be curated out of the world’s luxury capital and will offer rare and exquisite residences that are artfully created with the highest level of design, workmanship, and service to offer the very best, for the world’s most discerning. In line with the vision, the group has unveiled Lodha Altamount at India's Billionaire Mile - Altamount Road in South Mumbai. The development is being built on the site named Washington House, formerly the US Consulate in Mumbai - not just the highest point of the island city but also considered the most powerful.

Square Yards gets a new address in Qatar

Square Yards, a technology-enabled transaction platform for the primary real estate, has opened its new office in Doha. It is the first Indian real estate company to set up its office in Qatar, the richest GCC nation in terms of per capita income. The Doha office is Square Yards’third office in the GCC region after Dubai & Abu Dhabi. Qatar has evolved as one of the richest and vibrant economies in the world and the nation is investing towards a diversified economy that also involves a very well-regulated and transparent real estate industry. The total Indian population comprises over 500,000 with nearly 30% qualifying in the Middle/Upper-Middle Income category with an average monthly salary of around QAR 20,000 (Rs3,60,000). This reflects a massive potential that wasn’t being utilised well. Through the new office, Square Yards aims to serve the NRI clientele better who probably wants to invest in India but lacks sufficient knowledge.
