Junior Radio Jockey competition

Patiala: Two students of Yadavindra Public School, Patiala, - Kultajbir (Class VII) and Nidhi (Class VIII) -  got shortlisted in the Big FM Junior Radio Jockey competition organised by 92.7 Big FM. Only five students were shortlisted. These shortlisted students will go for the last round of selection through public voting. One of them will be the junior radio jockey for Big FM to host a show with Karan.

Shooters excel

Shooters Parul Pandit and Ishaan Bansal of DAV School, Patiala, won laurels at various competitions organised in the U-14 category of shooting. Ishan won gold and bronze at Punjab School (state level) held at Badal. He also performed remarkably at Punjab School (district level) and won a silver medal. He carried on the victory by achieving gold medal at DAV National Sports - 2015 held in Ludhiana. Meanwhile, Parul won gold and silver medal at Punjab State Shooting Competition. He also won a gold medal at the Punjab School district competition. His triumph continued with his outstanding performance at the DAV National Sports - 2015 held in Ludhiana as he bagged a silver medal in the competition. — TNS
