Local golfer Ikrabhdeep Ghai won the category A (boys) with a score of 78 while Amrit Lal (81 score) finished on the runners-up position in the same category during the 3rd Junior Golf Championship, being held at Chandigarh Golf Club, Chandigarh. Mansukh Sandhu (82 score) finished at second runners-up spot in the category A. In the girls (category-A) Lakhmehar Pardesi (109 score count back) won the championship followed by Aniya Sidhu (109 score).

Another local golfer Chinmaya Mahajan (83 score) won the category B (boys) with Aadil Bedi (85 score count back) attaining the second spot and Karandeep Singha (85 score) claimed third spot.

In the girls (category B), Mokshita Sharma scored 94 points and Saumya Mehtani scored 104 points and claimed top two spots, respectively. In the boys (category C) event, Mandaar Prashar (82 score) lead the tally ahead of Bismad Singh scoring 90 points and Aadil Ahuja scoring 92 points, secured second and thirs place, respectively. In girls (category C) Amikul Panaich (90 score) won the pole position followed by Himanshika Sehgal (92 count back score).

In boys (category D) Aditya Sood (87 points), Vasu Sehgal (89 score) and Manjot Singh (90 score) claimed top three spots while in girls (category D) Hunar Mittal (87 score) and Mehar Nijjar (95 score) remained at first two spots. In boys (category E) Jujjar Singh (38 score), Angad Singh (43 score) and Ivan Jolly (43 count back score) while in girls (category E) Ananya Kapoor (47 score) and Leisha Mehtani (48 score) claimed the respective first three positions. In boys (category F) Viren Partap Bhaika (40 score) was ahead of Manveer Shekand (55 score) while in girls (category F) Ananya Nai Sethi (57 score) won the championship.
