The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) today celebrated its 7th foundation day with reiterating its commitment to nation building and social progress.

Inaugurating the event, IIM Director Dr Atanu Rakshit remarked the achievements of the institute in various fields and the need to take the institute to a higher level.

Delivering the keynote address, Sudarshan Jain, Managing Director, Abbott Healthcare Private limited, underlined the importance of focusing on public health care in tapping India’s demographic dividend.

Sachin Tayal, MD, Protiviti Global Consulting and Bhupesh Rathore, Group Executive Vice president, Strategic Government Advisory, YES Bank, highlighted the role of women empowerment and innovation respectively in charting a path of unprecedented growth for India. — TNS
