Hearing the word denim, the first thing that comes to mind is a pair of jeans in your wardrobe and a number of other items that you can flaunt with ease during winter. But what about the scorching summer? Can denims be flaunted in summer too? Yes, of course! Here are a few designers suggesting the denims for the summer.

Prabhjeet Kaur, Ludhiana-based fashion designer shares, “Denims can enhance one’s look and even give a break from the normal cotton stuff. There are many varieties in the market that can be bought.” Denim is no more the fabric that you can’t wear in summer. Nowadays, denim is made in fusion with other fabrics. She adds, “This summer, one can wear the basic denim shirt and crop jacket.”

This season there are endless varieties of denim shirts that won’t make you feel uncomfortable, as these shirts are made of ‘lighter’ denim that lets your body breathe rather than suffocating it. These are light and are a good substitute for the basic cotton shirt.

Short & sweet

One can wear jackets in summer too! Sleeveless denim jackets mostly studded and worn upon a t-shirt will definitely up your style quotient.

Smart skirt

Denim skirts, either short ones or the long pencil ones, can make you look dapper. These are not only limited to casual-wear, but are also a new substitute for office-wear. Then there are denim shorts that can be flaunted this season.

Denim overalls are also rocking this season. These are all long and cover the body.
