Farida Jalal is not dead

The latest victim of death hoax on social media is veteran actress Farida Jalal, who was declared dead on Sunday on Internet. The actress has done award winning roles in movies like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Heena and many more. She will be soon seen playing a prominent role of a Kashmiri woman in Imran Khan’s upcoming film Sargoshiyan.

When contacted, Farida Jalal laughed and said, “I am hale and hearty. I don’t know from where these baseless rumours are coming from. It’s a bit irritating, I wonder why people spread such rumours.” 

Many actors, including Amitabh Bachchan,  have also faced the same death hoax in the past. 

Remember Ayesha Takia?

Ayesha Takia almost disappeared from the film space when she got married and delivered a baby. But looks like she is all geared to make a comeback. The actress has shot a music video in December for a song by Amit Mishra. The song is in its editing phase now and the release date will be announced soon. Reportedly, Ayesha had to be convinced a lot as she’s reluctant about taking up acting offers because she wants to do something substantial.

Salman becomes a pedal pusher 

Salman Khan prefers two wheelers over cars anytime! Being Human will soon be launching a range of e-cycles. Confirms a source, “Yes, the e-cycles will soon hit the market. It was completely Salman’s brainchild. He got the entire team to work on it. The cycle has been designed and the team has even done a demo trial. It is slick, cool and new-age. This is his way of giving back some love to his fans.” The e-cycles are battery-automated and rechargeable. So, you don’t need to even pedal. Now, isn’t that so cool? Mumbai roads will definitely get a lot cooler now, literally!
