Dhol is traditional musical instrument

Dehradun, August 14

The traditional Dhol has been selected as state’s traditional musical instrument by a committee set up by the Department of Culture.

The report of the committee will now be presented before the CM for approval.

The committee members comprising president Jugal Kishore, members Preetam Baratwan, Uttam Das and secretary Yogesh Bhandari finalised on Dhol. — TNS
