Ludhiana:A shobha yatra was taken out by devotees in the city on Thursday to mark the festival of Shivratri which would be celebrated all over on Friday. Various tableaus were decorated and devotees posing as Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati blessed one and all. Devotees joined the procession on the way. The shobha yatra started from Daresi grounds and passed through areas including Chaura Bazar and finally culminated at Sangla Wala Shivala. The devotees were offered prasad on the way and they recited hymns of Lord Shiva. —TNS
