Branches of Dewan Badrinath Vidya Mandir Schools at Amarvilla, Mubarak Mandi and SNS organised Baisakhi fair at Amarvilla school campus here today.

Mamta Nirmal Singh, a social activist, was the chief guest while Ashok Kaul, organising secretary of the BJP (J&K unit) was the guest of honour. A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students.

Various stalls were also set up on the occasion, which included games, handicrafts, mehndi, books etc.

The purpose of organising the fair was to acquaint the children with their culture and tradition. Later, results were declared wherein DBN Group of Schools excelled.
