Foundation year wing students of British School, Sector 44, celebrated the Basant Panchami by making and flying kites and eating yellow-coloured food. The little ones enjoyed the day as their teachers explained the importance of praying to goddess Saraswati for a bountiful Green Earth.

AKSIPS 41 Smart School (Chandigarh) 

The students celebrated Basant Panchami with great enthusiasm and devotion. They performed the 'Saraswati Vandana' and flew kites. Manik and Ritesh won the first prize in the kite-flying contest. The students of the primary wing contributed towards these celebrations by displaying their artistic skills in poster-making competition. School Principal Jagjit Sekhon extended her wishes to the students and the staff. Jasdeep Karla, executive director of the AKSIPS Group of Schools, said the festival brings vibrancy in our lives by welcoming the onset of spring. — TNS
